The product, in the report: Tatung Stainless Steel Multi-Functional Cooker TAC-11KN(UL)
I was using my Tatung Model TAC-11KN(UL) multicooker when the power cord became extremely hot and I noticed that the outer covering of the power cord had melted off and exposed the inner wires. When I went to unplug the multicooker, the part of the power cable that goes into the electrical outlet was extremely hot to the touch. I suffer mild burns on my fingertips.
I was using the product as directed.
