This is absolutely a standard, monofacial 100W panel configuration. The values printed on this sticker prove they completely skipped the engineering required for a true double-sided panel:
No Rear-Side Coefficients: A real bifacial panel sticker must list specs for the rear side, or provide a combined total power rating (e.g., “Pmax with 15% Bifacial Gain”). This label lists a completely flat, standard 100W Maximum Power with no extra calculations.
Standard Monofacial Electrical Specs: The listed Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) of 23.4V and Short Circuit Current (Isc) of 5.64A are the exact, textbook electrical blueprints for a standard, single-sided 100W 12V-class rigid solar panel. By building these with a clear back layer but utilizing basic, un-optimized monofacial cell sheets, the current from the front has nowhere to go but to overload the bottlenecks when pushed to max capacity. They simply omitted the opaque backsheet layer and sold it under a false name, leading to the exact melting and blistering I experienced.
