The product, in the report: The Ultimate Hardwire Surge Protectors H1A-120/240T2 PSP Products, Inc. P.O. Box 4108 Manassas, VA 20108
The hardwired surge protector installed professionally on the side of my electric meter base caught fire igniting the side of my house. Installation of this unit was promoted by my electric company, Adams Electric Cooperative, Gettysburg, PA as a protection device for major household appliances. [REDACTED] company responded to the fire and damage was limited to one wall because we were home and caught the fire early. The fire could have been much worse if the surge protector was installed inside the house on the side of my electric breaker panel.
