The product, in the report: Tessan Power Strip Model TS-1026-C. SN TS03A43302377

We have a Tessan Model TS-1026-C Charging Block that has 4 standard outlets, two USB charge ports, and a USB-C port. An [REDACTED] charge cord was plugged into the USB-C port with no device attached to charge (no [REDACTED] or [REDACTED] hooked up). The cord was the only thing plugged into the Tessan Charging Block. The cord and charging block overheated, melting both ends of the cord and burning a hole in the bed sheet. My daughter walked into her room and saw the cord had melted, and unplugged the block from the wall. There were no injuries; however, this would have resulted in a house fire if my daughter had not walked in when she did.
