The product, in the report: White power strip with 6 outlets. Relocatable Power Taps, Model# YLPT-2-1 Rating:15A 125VAC 60Hz 1875W Made in China Conforms to UL STD NO. 1363 Certified to CSA STD. C22.2 NO.21
Power strip was being used to power a [REDACTED] vacuum charger, and a laptop charger. I noticed the power strip did not have power, but the switch was on. When I picked up the power strip and moved it, the power suddenly came on. When I placed the power strip back in the original position I had it it the power went back off again. I came to find out that if the power wire feeding the power strip was jiggled the power to the strip would turn off and on. I’m afraid this may cause a short, eventually leading to a fire.
