The product, in the report: Power Master Model EP-6 Surge & Noise Suppressor Electrical Rating: 15A, 125VAC, 60hZ, 1875 Watts Continuous Duty
Due to a heavy rain and an old electric meter head, the meter head on my house semi separated causing a power surge. Some small appliances blew, but this surge surpessor caught on fire. Because of the way it must be installed (by screwing it into the outlet), it could not be removed until after the fire was put out. It burnt the drywall and melted the outlet.
