Hurt, no treatment Made Jun 29, 2026, sent to the company Jul 1, 2026, published by CPSC Jul 16, 2026
The product, in the report: Dollar Tree GreenLite Power Strip 7 outlets, 2 “always on”, 1 control outlet, and 4 automatically switched outlets
GreenLite Advanced Powerstrip purchased from Dollar Tree internally caught fire. All 6 outlets produced fire. This was plugged into the wall, but had no cords plugged into it. All outlets caught fire spontaneously, which was exceptionally dangerous as this was next to a fireplace that is linked directly to house gasline. I attempted to contact Dollar Tree by phone and email with no response.
