The product, in the report: Electricord A-1495-006-AS 6 outlet 8803G surge protector

We have a 6 outlet surge protector made by Electricord, a Leviton company. We hook up low powered cell phones and [REDACTED] for recharging with this power strip. It is plugged into a three prong electric outlet. We plugged in a [REDACTED] for recharging, turned on the red plastic rocker switch and the red rocker switch started to smoke and popped off the strip. The circuit blew at my electric panel. Luckily, we were not hurt by this incident but if it happened when we were not present, it could have started a fire! mfg: Electricord, a Leviton company Prpduct code: A-1495-006-AS, 8803G
