The product, in the report: Curtis SP700 surge protector. White in color

We used Curtis SP 700 surge protector to plug in a coffee maker, a kettle and a food saver on our counter top in our kitchen. The surge protector caught fire sometime in the night. Luckily we have no damage except for a burned counter top and some minor damage where the fire burned the wall. Somehow the fire snuffed itself out. I woke to no electricity on the master bedroom, bathroom, and the 3 other rooms in the house along with the microwave, the kitchen, dining room and living room. Upon further inspection, that is when I saw the blackened and melted surge protector on the counter in the kitchen where it was plugged in. The surge protector has a big melted hole on the bottom and the top where the red switch is located.
