The product, in the report: Aukey PA-S24 Power Hub XL
I recently purchased an AUKEY PA-S24 Power Hub XL from Amazon.com. Upon unpacking and plugging unit in, I tested the 110v outlets do to some reviewers quoting this power hub had wiring polarity problems and sure enough the unit I received also test with the same problem. To date five units including the one I purchased have been returned to Amazon do to this defect.
I tested the 110 volt outlet using an [REDACTED] circuit tester, Model [REDACTED] and it showed reverse polarity on all outlet.
Think it would be advisable for this Manufacturer to recall all units sold, review their assembly procedures or do better QA testing procedures before one of these unit causes some damage to a home, electronic device connected to it or even possible electrocution .
I did have to return this unit for a refund but If ever you resolve this issue and guarantee no more power hub XLs have this problem , I would gladly repurchase this device in a heartbeat do to its functionality.
Sincerely
