Hurt, care not known Made Mar 12, 2023, sent to the company Mar 20, 2023, published by CPSC Apr 4, 2023
The product, in the report: Aduro Surge Swivel Wall Charging Tower with 9 Power Outlets and Dual USB ports. AHR-315 (SRG-WT902U-08)
Aduro surge protector AHR-315 (SRG-WT902U-08) has the hot and neutral reversed on the side outlet. This lead me getting shocked. It is also a fire risk. A larger version of this same surge protector has a current recall ([REDACTED]).

No incident, no one hurt Made Mar 17, 2022, sent to the company Mar 21, 2022, published by CPSC Apr 4, 2022
The product, in the report: Aduro Surge Protector 12 Outlet Power Strip with USB (2 Ports 2.4A) Wall Mount Multiple Outlet Splitter Extender Adapter with Phone Shelf Stand White https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086VSPTGN
Tested the outlets on a wall surge protector/power strip and half of the outlets have their hot and neutral lines reversed. Other Amazon reviews confirm the same thing, so it is a faulty and dangerous design. Amazon (and other retailers) continue to sell the product.

No one hurt Made Oct 21, 2021, sent to the company Oct 25, 2021, published by CPSC Nov 8, 2021
The product, in the report: The products are 9-outlet and 12-outlet surge protector devices of similar physical design that mount directly to a wall outlet, and provide modest surge protection plus a pair of USB power ports. They are labeled as “Aduro Surge Wall Charging Tower”
Found and purchased an electrical tap/surge protector device, which has a design defect, by which outlets paired at 90 degree angles are wired together such that half the outlets in the arrangement are miswired. Hot and neutral are swapped on the affected outlets, which can affect the electrical safety of connected appliances. This is a problem inherent in the internal design of the device, and as such all examples of two related product models (a 9-outlet and a 12-outlet model) share the defect.
The reseller from which the purchase was made (woot.com) has been clearly notified of the defect by multiple customers, and yet refuses to take the complaints seriously or take down the product listing:

No one hurt Made Jun 26, 2021, sent to the company Jul 28, 2021, published by CPSC Aug 11, 2021
The product, in the report: Aduro SURGE Multi Charging Station Surge Protector with 12 Outlets and 2 USB Ports. SRG-WT12O2U-08 (from bar code) Model AHR-318. 2.4 AMP Combined 2 USB Ports. 300 Jules (sic) power surge protection. Color is white. Model SRG-WT12O2U-08 (Item Number) Model: AHR-318 UPC 49813-02399
I bought four Aduro Surge Wall Tower Outlets a few months ago from Woot. Today, these units appeared again, and I like them so I wanted to check the reviews and possibly add to them. I was concerned to see a reference to an earlier review that I had not seen that showed that these are not wired correctly. Half the outlets on the 12-outlet version have a serious ground fault. The neutral wire goes to the hot terminal on the receptacle, and vice-versa. You can see the original comment on the Woot site, made by [REDACTED], here: [REDACTED]
[REDACTED] includes pictures showing the faulty wiring. I also confirmed this on my own units using a continuity tester. Even though this was reported four months ago, Woot is still selling these and has not recalled any defective units. Nor has the manufacturer. (Note: This is an ongoing issue so for the date in Question 2, I selected today’s date.
Also: Woot was first notified of this issue in February (see above URL) and is still selling these. They have not recalled any defective units. So although I have named the manufacturer below, I think Woot bears some responsibility to issue recalls and/or refunds.

No one hurt Made Feb 18, 2021, sent to the company Mar 8, 2021, published by CPSC Mar 22, 2021
The product, in the report: Product is a power strip that mounts in a wall outlet and provides 9 outlets, 3 on each of three sides, and 2 USB charging ports.
Purchased 3 Aduro “Multi Charging Station Surge Protectors”. This device is a power strip with 9 outlets located on 3 sides of a post and two USB charging ports. When I removed the first two from the package I tested them with an outlet polarity tester which revealed that while the 3 outlets on the front of the post are wired correctly, the 3 outlets on either side of the post have their hot and neutral wires reversed. The same defect was present in both devices. I did not remove the 3rd device from its package and test it.
