The product, in the report: Babyletto Yuzu 8-in-1 Convertible Crib in toddler bed configuration. The product is the Babyletto Yuzu 8-in-1 Convertible Crib with all stages conversion kits. The crib is [color e.g., Natural/Walnut], with overall dimensions of approximately 54” L x 30” W x 36” H in crib mode. It is marketed as converting to multiple configurations, including bassinet, midi crib, full-size crib, toddler bed, daybed, and junior bed. In toddler bed configuration, one full side is open with no guardrail.
After converting my Babyletto Yuzu Convertible Crib to the toddler bed configuration exactly as shown in the manufacturers instructions, I discovered it has no side rail. My toddler has fallen out multiple times, which is a serious safety hazard. The product is marketed as a toddler bed, but ASTM F1821 (mandatory under 16 CFR Part 1217) requires guardrails at least 5 inches above the mattress and covering at least half of each side. This configuration does not meet that requirement.
