The product, in the report: Delta Children’s Products - 4 in 1 Crib Style: 7884-108 Lot: SY14172 Date: 201407 Length: 54” Height: 44.25”
My 20-month-old son has the Delta Children 4 in 1 crib, in the toddler bed conversion. In the middle of the night, I was awoken to him screaming, so I ran to his room and discovered that his entire head and neck were trapped underneath the bottom part of the bed frame. He likes to sleep on the floor sometimes, so he must have rolled underneath of it and got trapped. I had to physically lift up the bed to free him. He was uninjured, but if I had not heard him on the baby monitor in time, it could have led to serious injury.

The product, in the report: We ordered the Cars Wood Toddler Bed (SKU: BB87105CR-1003) from Delta Children online. It arrived and we put it together, and the odor in our childs bedroom was unbearable- made me dizzy and gave me a sore throat and cough within minutes. We took the bed outside to “air out”; it was wiped down with a vinegar solution as recommended by the company and has been out for 5 days; the odor has not diminished (we can even smell it outside), and worse- the odor in our house is still noticeable, after 5 days of open windows and fans?! This is unacceptable, especially for a childrens’ product- even if it isn’t formaldehyde, there is some sickening chemical/fume associated with the wood/paint/varnish of this product and i am concerned for children to be sleeping in closed quarters with this product.

First aid Made Apr 10, 2014, sent to the company Apr 18, 2014, published by CPSC May 2, 2014
The product, in the report: Delta Enterprises pink Princess Canopy toddler bed
I bought a Delta Enterprises Princess toddler bed from Toys R Us for Christmas 2012. Tonight at about 8:20, my 3 year old daughter got her foot stuck in one of the slots on the footboard. We had to cut off her pajamas and soap up her foot to be able to pull it out. Both sides of her ankle are cut up from pulling her foot out. She also has bruises on her ankles from trying to get her out. It took 3 adults, a half hour to free her while she cried and screamed in pain. A toddler bed should not have slots like this where a child could get stuck.

The product, in the report: Toddler beds
The caller reported that while his two year old child was playing around the on the bed it collapsed. The child did not receive any injuries.
The caller stated that the toddler bed is a potential safety hazard because of how it is designed. The bolts are round which are used to put through a square hole to hold the bed together. If kids are playing around this bed the head or foot board can collapse causing injury to the child.
4/5/13 The manufacturer was contacted and he was advised that they had never had any complaints on this product. He was advised to email pictures of the bed to them.

The product, in the report: Delta cars toddler bed...bought at walmart
On Monday Jan 23rd 2012. My son got his foot/ankle cought in the footboard of the Delta Cars toddler bed. It took me about 15 mins to get his leg free. He was very scared, nothing was broken but he did end up with a bruise. I think these beds need to be recalled or a replacement footboard needs to be sent out. There are gaps in the footboard just big enough for a toddlers foot. Something needs to be done.

Hurt, no treatment Made Jul 31, 2011, published by CPSC Aug 22, 2011
The product, in the report: Delta Baby Crib. Model # 4322, Order # 24030, Date 11 FEB 2004. White wooden convertable crib with drop down sides.
I had converted my son’s Delta LOV crib (Model #4322, Order # 24030, made on 11 FEB 2004, in Indonesia) in to a youth bed, according to the instructions in step 4. My son, like many other kids, jumped on his bed on day and I heard a scream and him crying. I ran in the room to find him under the mattress and the mattress board. Evidently the whole thing had flipped over on him and he was trapped under the bed. I called the company to file a complaint, and/or receive at least a partial refund of what I had paid for the bed. They took my information and suggested that I not use the bed any more, but that was all they were willing to say to me. My son thankfully was not majorly harmed except for a scrape and some bruising, but with the crib recalls now from babies dying, I feel that the company should have paid more attention to this matter when it happened.
