The product, in the report: Sleigh Toddler Bed by Baby Relax (Dorel Asia) Dimensions: 56.5”W x 28.87”D x 28.25”H Weight: 30.8 lbs Wood finish colors come in Cherry, White, Natural and Walnut

Just recently purchased a Sleigh Toddler Bed by Baby Relax (Dorel Asia) for our daughter. It has been less than 5 days since we bought it and it just broke. While our 2 year old daughter and 5 year old son were playing in our daughters room, the cylinder (Item E) that attaches to the left and right footboard posts broke through both posts and struck my son in the face causing two puncture wounds on the outside of his lip and a large gash on the inside. The wood that the screws fit into on both footboard posts to secure the cylinder had completely broken leaving the foot of the bed a danger to anyone walking around it due to the broken wood at the top of each footboard post. The cylinders are at the top of the headboard and footboard and are unavoidable locations for small children and, as such, pose a tremendous risk to children.
