  1. No one hurt

Made Feb 21, 2023, sent to the company Feb 24, 2023, published by CPSC Mar 10, 2023

    The product, in the report: Hierarchy Grow Adjustable Stool 17’’-24’’ H by Mooreco, 50970 - (Stock #20G42 - from Worthington Direct) Warranty:1 Year Weight:15 pounds Overall Dimensions:13” W x 13” D x 17” to 24” H

A student was seated on the item and when rocked slightly forward as the product indicates this is what it is designed to do, the base rolled which caused the seat to roll out from under the student. I then sat on the stool and rocked slightly to have the stool do the same with me. I had to catch myself from falling. I contacted the company I bought them from to let them know that the base of the stool rolls and when a student or adult rocks like they are supposed to be able to, the base of the stool rolls on the floor which cause the stool to roll out from under the student. I asked to have them returned back to Worthington Direct. The service rep said the manufacturer said there is no defect and they will only take them back with a restocking fee and I pay the freight cost.
