  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Apr 8, 2023, sent to the company Apr 11, 2023, published by CPSC May 2, 2023

The product, in the report: Lockable stool with back and foot rest ergonomic rolling wheels with hydraulic adjustable height.

I filed my complaint on 4/1 when I explained how the stool wheel failed and caused it to collapse with me falling to the floor hitting my head and bruising my left elbow. I requested a refund and a RMA so CoVibrant can examine the failure. The failure caused personal injury that must be reported to the Consumer Protection Agency to help avoid another customer injury. On the inital report a photo shows the failed wheel.

(4/13/2023): The cpsc.gov reply on 4/10 explained that the model and serial number are still needed. Attached is the photo that shows the only identification that is visible. A serial number is not visible. The only information is some kind of possible circular logo that shows the letters “YP” and some unreadable marking. The other information that appears to be stamped on the seat support are “DO NOT OPEN OR HEAT UP SG5” followed by “BIFMA X5.1 CATAS” and “EN1335 2021.10”

Since CoVibrant has not responded to my request to return this product for a refund, please provide an address where I can send the broken stool to be examined. I got off very lucky when I fell backward off the stool when a wheel colapsed. The back of my head could have very easily hit the corner of the countertop and caused a severe concussion.

Amazon does not offer this product now which leads me to believe that the inferior quality caused other failures.
