Hurt, no treatment Made Jan 4, 2013, sent to the company Jan 23, 2013, published by CPSC Feb 13, 2013
The product, in the report: Circo Chloe and Conner Stool, White, 11x11x11
Recently purchased a stool from Target. Circo Chloe and Conner Stool. Assembled this evening as per instructions. Confirmed all screws, cams, etc were tightened and flush as per instructions. Daughter used the stool in her bathroom so she can reach the faucet/cup/etc for brushing her teeth. Coming down off of the stool, one of the 2 cross members broke completely off and she fell on one of the corners of the stool. A large red area developed as well as a long welt/scratch which appears to be caused from one of the corners of the stool after it broke.
