The product, in the report: OxGord EN131 12ft Aluminum Folding Ladder
Saturday, August 30, 2015 at about 10:00am, I began painting on my house. I had a bucket and brush in one hand and used the other hand to climb the ladder. When I reached half way up, the rung located next to the middle hinge, pulled out of the frame. The resulting twisting motion caused the frame to tear and rip, causing the ladder to collapse with me on it. The nature of the damage resulted in my dropping straight down and landing on my feet. I stumbled off to the side, bucket sloshing but still in hand. The only injury appears to be a soreness in one ankle that disappeared by the next day. There were no indications, beforehand, that the ladder rung would pull loose.
