The product, in the report: LUISLADDERS 18.5FT Folding Ladder Multi-Purpose Aluminium Extension 7 in 1 Step Heavy Duty Combination EN 131 Standard Ordered from Amazon.com
I purchased one of the ladders on Amazon called the “LUISLADDERS 18.5FT Folding Ladder Multi-Purpose Aluminium Extension 7 in 1 Step Heavy Duty Combination EN 131 Standard”, and upon arrival I realized many of the edges on the bottom of the ladder, around the hinges, and a few places throughout had very sharp edges on the aluminum, not smoothed out but left sharp. Not only that it had small dents around the legs and small metal shavings and metal splinters covering the ladder and not cleaned off. All drilled holes for screws were left sharp and not smoothed out. Even the nuts for the screws had metal shavings and splinters covering the inside. There have been reviews on amazon saying the ladder bent on them in use - it is noticeably light aluminum. The hinges to bend the ladder and its unlocking mechanisms are clearly a bit cheaply made with a thin metal strand to unlock the legs. I unfortunately cut my finger open assembling this ladder as I did not notice right away how sharp the leg slots were left.
