The bed poses a risk of impalement, as one of the reviews explicitly mentions. There are many, many mentions of hazards in the reviews. The company Zinus is presumably aware of their unsafe products, considering that inside the product box they include a waiver of liability that the consumer must follow specific instructions to opt out of. The product, a bed frame, is extremely unstable. The parts bend significantly even with very gentle normal use, even within any weight limits whether advertised or implied. There is one piece of the bed frame in particular at the center that bends in such a way that it could snap and puncture through a mattress causing serious injury or death. There are reviews with photo evidence of this, and despite the reviews with these warnings, the company has not recalled the product nor offered a solution to consumers. Zinus continues to sell the bed frame. I have discarded the bed frame due to the hazards.

No one hurt Made Sep 17, 2021, sent to the company Oct 6, 2021, published by CPSC Oct 21, 2021
The product, in the report: (2) Zinus Luis Quick Lock 16 Inch Metal Platform Bed Frame
I purchased 2 Zinus Luis Quick Lock 16 Inch Metal Platform Bed Frames in April 2021 from Amazon, but can also be purchased directly from www.zinus.com. The frames (minimally used with light weight twin-size [REDACTED] foam mattresses) cannot support 100lb children. ALL of the legs on both frames are caving inward. We have retightened the hardware with the tool provided by Zinus, but it does not correct the problem. Because these are platform frames, there is plenty of room underneath for children and pets to lay or hide. These frames are going to collapse and someone is going to be seriously injured or killed. I contacted the company and they only offered to replace the frame with the EXACT same product. This is not an acceptable resolution. There is a flaw in the design that poses an imminent danger to all (INCLUDING CHILDREN)!

No one hurt Made May 17, 2021, sent to the company May 20, 2021, published by CPSC Jun 4, 2021
The product, in the report: Queen Zinus mattress 12-inch memory foam. Model Gel Infused
Product cover when washed or cleaned started shedding glass fibers that reportedly make the item flame retardant. This fibers after drying the cover went everywhere, on the floor, carpet, stick to other clothes, etc. They caused irritation in the lungs and itchiness on the skin.

First aid Made Sep 6, 2020, sent to the company Oct 14, 2020, published by CPSC Nov 10, 2020
The product, in the report: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y2GVW5J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_TglvFbXE1M4BA zinus easy assembly quick lock bunk bed Model OLB-RPBB
I purchased a Zinus bunked from Amazon for my two young children earlier this year. Within a few months the bed began to come apart where it is welded together. One night at approximately 2 am, the top bunk collapsed while my 6 year old son slept on top. He luckily, was not severely injured. My 8 year old son had just gotten off the bottom bunk to go to the restroom, what would have happened if he were still under the bed, when it gave way? That is scary! I contacted the company, they have no been helpful at all. They claim there is a one year warranty on the bed, I however have not been able to receive such information. This product is unsafe for children. After researching this bed some more, I discovered there are many stories just like this, of the bed collapsing with a child on it asleep. There are reviews on Amazon, showing this has happened to other people.
