The product, in the report: Serta Motion Perfect Adjustable Foundation, queen size, to be used with a Serta iComfort Renewal Refined foam mattress.
The Serta Motion Perfect Adjustable Foundation comes with a remote control that allows you to select options to raise or lower the head or foot of the mattress. There is also a button marked FLAT that will automatically return the foundation base to a level position. When this button is pressed, intentionally or accidentally, the frame continues to lower even if there is an obstruction between the base and the frame. This could cause serious injury or death if a person or pet gets in the way of the frame while it is lowering. I became concerned about this when I saw my husband resting in the bed with the head of the bed in the raised position. Our dog had come into the room and was lying on the floor next to the bed with the top part of his ear laying between the bed frame and base on the opposite side of the bed from my husband. There is no Pause or Stop button in case of an emergency.

The product, in the report: Queen size bed, electric base and phoam
The consumer purchased a queen size bed with an electrical base that offered several features (rises and lowers adjusting and it offers massage feature). The consumer stated that she is unhappy with the product because the since the electrical base is plugged up it creates heat that transcend to the mattress making it unbearable. The consumer stated that usually she sleeps 6-7 hours, but with this bed she has not been able to sleep properly.
The consumer stated that approximately 10-15 days after purchasing the bed she started experiencing back pains. The consumer stated that she has used the feature of rising and lowering the bed, but she sleeps with it flat. The consumer stated that after she gets up from the bed she still has the back pain and it takes long for the pain to go away.
The consumer stated that she has never had any back pains before and this is why she believes the bed is causing her symptoms. The consumer stated that she has not been to a doctor to treat the back pain.
The consumer stated that within 30 days she contacted the retailer because she is not satisfied with the bed. She stated that she also visited the retailer to request an exchange or refund. The representative informed her that he would be able to change the mattress, but they would not be able to change the electrical base.
The consumer believes that this product should be investigated.
