The product, in the report: A Leggatt and Platt adjustable foundation

After adjusting the bed to desired position, the bed started going up on its on. It continued to go as far as it could, then I heard this ticking sound as if the bed had reached its stressed level then it just woundn’t move anymore. As I attempted to let the bed back down it just would not respond. It started sparking then I smelled and saw smoke. I immediately unpluged the unit and then felt it, it was very hot. I didnt notice the seriousness until the repair guy turned the bed over and it was burned underneath on the surface of the foundation.
