The product, in the report: Wooden Headboard

Purchased king size headboard around mid August 2014. She noticed small incidents with feeling ill but then in October 2014 she began suffering with vertigo, vision changes, exhaustion, headaches , facial twitching and a feeling of ill health. During the past months the caller has spent thousands of dollars to discover that she has major neurological symptoms and affected her health greatly.

She has not had the headboard tested but her tests showed that she had been exposed to high formaldehyde levels.

The caller has a compromised immune system caused by Lupus and Epstein Bar/adrenal failure.

She and her boyfriend went away for the weekend and she felt better each morning after sleeping elsewhere.

They returned Tuesday, May 12th, 2015 and removed the headboard from their bedroom then placed it away from the area. In just a couple of days her symptoms have dramatically improved. The vertigo is gone, headaches and major facial twitching has stopped, sinuses have improved and she is hoping that her vision focus returns soon.

She is asking that these headboard be investigated and the public made aware of the formaldehyde dangers.

She has not contacted the manufacturer but does intend to contact them.
