The product, in the report: Catalina bed twin with nightlight pottery barn kids. In white

Purchased this bed in May 2025 for my 4 year old. The paint has started peeling, and worst of all, my 4-year-old got a splinter from the bed. I contacted Pottery Barn Kids customer service to request a return. They told me its outside their warranty of 1 Year so theres nothing I can do. For a safety issue they took no responsibility. I cannot use this bed as the paint will keep peeling over time.

The product, in the report: Catalina Twin Bed, Valley Espresso, Headboard, footboard and rail frame.

I bought my son a twin wood bed from Pottery Barn Kids. I noticed a musty chemical smell in his room. It was so strong it would take our breath away. We thought it was the mattress or clothing, but investigated and found it to be the bed frame. It was terrible. My son has had respiratory issues and has been on inhaler and steroid due to the inflammation which I believe was made worse by his bed. We removed the bed from his room and the smell was instantly gone. If it takes me breath away after being in there for a few minutes then I can’t imagine what it was doing to him sleeping in there.
