Hurt, no treatment Made Oct 14, 2026, sent to the company Oct 19, 2026, published by CPSC Nov 2, 2026
The product, in the report: The MODWAY Rael Brown Wood Frame Queen Platform Bed with Upholstered Headboard and Footboard is a padded headboard and footboard.
I purchased the Modway Rael Brown Wood Frame Queen Platform Bed with Upholstered Headboard and Footboard from Home Depot. This bed frame has a very unsafe level of formaldehyde, and the resulting formaldehyde offgassing has affected the entire room in which it was set up. I did not realize before purchasing that many others have reported the same experience, and that other similar products from the company cannot be sold in California due to Prop 65 limits on toxic materials used in furniture.
