The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Lucid tan faux leather upholstered platform bed purchased from Wayfair (product info: W005856932). Recall link: https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2024/CVB-Recalls-LUCID-Platform-Beds-with-Upholstered-Square-Tufted-Headboards-Due-to-Fall-and-Injury-Hazards The bed tag info: Reg No. UT 5311 (MY) Made for: CVB Inc, [REDACTED], Logan, UT 84321

-Bed began sagging and feeling unstable; the center support leg is bending; filed for the recall replacement and was denied. -Product is Lucid Faux Leather Upholstered Platform W005856932 purchased thru Wayfair - no longer available -I was using this product -Was using the product to sleep -No injuries yet

I rec’d the recall notice for this bed, however I was denied the recall replacement b/c the color I purchased was not a part of the recall. I dismantled the bed once the recall notice was rec’d since the center support leg was already breaking and the recall notice instructed my to take the bed apart immediately. I put the bed back together once I was denied and the bed has continued to get worse in the same area of support.

We bought a Lucid Mattress twin box spring within a month of usage the boxspring snapped in half. The box spring has completely collapsed on one side and is not sturdy and at risk for folding in half. We bought it for a 35lb toddler. The box spring is meant for a 400lb recommended weight limit of 700 lb max limit. It is extremely dangerous that someone so light could break the box spring. We looked at the frame and the metal has bent in the middle where it is supposed to be secure. The box spring is meant to fold in half but it is folding the other way as it is so broken. We looked at several reviews online via Amazon and several consumers have said similar things. We tried contacting the company as it states the product is under warranty. They have turned off the customer service line and closed all company emails. We have tried contacting the company on all emails and all emails bounce back. This an American based company.

The product, in the report: Lucid L300 adjustable bed frame with lucid mattress

For the last 6 months or so the right side of bed seemed to be sinking in the middle of the bed after being slept in during the night then 1 morning the bed just fell on that side and I found the leg had broken off, causing me to fall out the bed.
