The product, in the report: Furniture of America Enchant twin size carriage bed frame.
We purchased a carriage bed for our 3 year old daughter. She is now almost 5 and we heard a cry from her bedroom about an hour after she had been put to bed. We ran into the room and found her with her head trapped in the metal frame and the bars pinching her neck as she struggled to get out. She had climbed up the canopy while sleeping and somehow pushed her head through the metal details of the bed and then slipped down and was unable to get her head back out. As she struggled she moved further down the canopy/headboard and this caused her neck to be pinned between the metal bars. If we had already been asleep when this accident occurred there is no doubt this would have been a tragedy and we would have lost our baby girl. We are very conscientious parents and have childproofed our home. We never thought this bed could be dangerous but now we know it should not be used in children’s bedrooms.
