The product, in the report: FLOU S.p.A. Italy manufactured sold in USA by same company. Queen size storage bed with headboard and metal frame operated by hydraulic pistons. https://www.flou.it/en https://www.flou.it/en/products/beds/nathalie_8 CM| IN Adjustable slatted base *version suitable for mattress 170 x 200 cm with storage unit. All related documents and pictures available - but could not be uploaded.
Flou storage bed - I raised the foot of the bed with the assistance of its attached piston mechanism in order to retrieve a piece of jewelry at the head of the bed. The bed collapsed unexpectedly trapping me and severely injuring my hand and wrist. I live alone. This style of bed, which can be raised only at the foot of the box spring/storage base, should be recalled immediately in order to install safety latches designed to prevent the unintended collapse and entrapment of the user or bystanders of the bed when it is in the raised position. I was rushed to Emergency Room, suffered severe permanent nerve damage
