I bought this bed frame from Amazon last year. I have figured out how to make it safe, but it is not safe as sold. It is advertised as a twin bed frame but the (brand new) twin mattress/box spring I bought does not cover the area it is supposed to fit. There is about a 4-inch gap on the long side of the mattress- making it easy for a child to slip between the box spring and the metal frame of the bed. If you push this frame agianst the wall, it creates a 4-inch gap that a child could slip into and suffocate. I have had no injuries but that is because I rigged it up to be safer. I would have returned it but returning a bed frame via Amazon was more than I could deal with. Here is the link to the bed frame- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G63744L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
