Hurt, no treatment Made Nov 29, 2018, sent to the company Feb 5, 2019, published by CPSC Feb 21, 2019
The product, in the report: CraftMatic Twin Bed
Caller ordered a twin size bed Friday, October 12th, 2018 that was delivered and set up by delivery employees Monday, October 15th, 2018. She and her daughter were in the home later and saw that all parts to the bed were not intact but the legs and sliders were lying on the porch flooring. She contacted the company and they sent a repairman who placed these parts on the bed. November 20th, 2018 she was in the bed, she was reading and relaxed when something happened that she believes may have been some sort of a spring due to the force that she was thrown to the floor injuring her left shoulder, the left side of her face and left eye to the point that her eye was swollen shut. She and her daughter treated her injuries, She did contact the manufacturer who sent another repair tech to repair her spring. She tried to sleep in the bed but could not for fear of being injured again so she slept on a cot she had set aside.
