No one hurt Made Feb 19, 2026, sent to the company Mar 3, 2026, published by CPSC Mar 17, 2026
The product, in the report: Adjustable Bedframe - by Casper Mattress Adjustable Base Queen Bed: 0020007430
Company created unsafe unusable adjustable bedframe. Bedframe legs bent and broke. Company says you can not move the bed once set up. Bed was being used for normal functions. Bedframe is very heavy and can not be moved with out multiple peoples assistance. Company is saying bed must have been moved or pushed. Bedframes should on a basic level move for bodies in them. Having a bedframe break from basic normal usage is a design flaw and is unsafe. Consumers should be made aware at the very least prior to purchasing a bedframe its unsafe and has unrealistic expectations for usage. Bed is now wobbly and may break and crush anything below it or cause damage.
I was almost crushed when vacumning under bed. This would not have happened had the bed legs been made for a bed for normal usage and wear and tear.

Emergency room Made Jul 26, 2019, sent to the company Aug 5, 2019, published by CPSC Aug 19, 2019
The product, in the report: Casper adjustable bed frame, split king size, The Wave mattress, twin size
I purchased a Casper bed at the company store in West Palm Beach, Florida on 6/29/2018. The bed was set up in my home by Casper. I recently had neck surgery and the Casper sales representatives indicated that the bed would be perfect for my post-surgical needs. On 12/13/2018, I was in the bed with my torso elevated. When I reached to turn off the light which was located nearby on my night stand, suddenly and without warning, the bed overturned and pitched me to the floor. As I fell, I struck my neck (at the surgical site) and shoulder on the adjacent night stand. I reinjured my neck and tore the rotator cuff of my shoulder.
