The product, in the report: OasisSpace Bed Rail for Seniors, Medical Adjustable Bed Assist Rail Handle and Fall Prevention Safety Hand Guard Grab Bar for Elderly, Handicap - Fit King, Queen, Full, Twin. OasisSpace Bed Rail for Seniors, Medical Adjustable Bed Assist Rail Handle and Fall Prevention Safety Hand Guard Grab Bar for Elderly, Handicap - Fit King, Queen, Full, Twin Sold by: Gold Kernal LLC Supplied by: Other $66.99 FSA or HSA eligible

I was alerted to this product recall today. (OasisSpace Bed Rail for Seniors, Medical Adjustable Bed Assist Rail Handle and Fall Prevention Safety Hand Guard Grab Bar for Elderly, Handicap - Fit King, Queen, Full, Twin) I purchased the item in December of 2021. I was a caregiver for my older brother with Parkinson’s Disease and he was falling out of bed. I slid the rail under the mattress as instructed and about a 1/3 down from the head of the queen sized bed. my brother rolled over and got his head stuck at the neck and his body was on the floor. The bed alarm alerted me to wake up. I had to physically lift his entire body up above the bed level to release him. Had I not been strong enough to do that, he would have suffocated before help arrived. Because his body weight via the shoulder was resting on the railing, I could not pull it out even an inch. Due to the bed alarm, there were no long-term injuries.
