No one hurt Made Feb 1, 2014, sent to the company Feb 12, 2014, published by CPSC Mar 10, 2014
The product, in the report: Munchkin brand portable toddler bed rail UPDATED 2/20/14: Munchkin Toddler Safety Bed Rail Item#34066/mk0032 rev2
I have a Munchkin Brand Portable Toddler Bed Rail that I purchased in the spring of 2013. It was installed on a full size mattress. Last night while my child was sleeping the bed rail sheared off from the plastic piece that holds the strap under the mattress. It seemed to be a failure of the plastic to plastic seam that permanently connects the 2 pieces together. Though my child was not hurt, it left the rail half way on the floor with sharp plastic edges on both the rail and the other plastic piece.
