Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

We ordered a bed rail for my husband. He has parkinsons and had fallen out of bed. The bed rail worked great. On Monday, November 4th he woke up with a numb left had and was unable to move his left wrist. We went to the ER thinking it could be stroke related. It turned out to be a pinched radial nerve and wrist drop. He had slept against the railing and cut off circulation to the radial nerve. It will take six to nine months to recover full use of the left hand. A padding device for the railing system would have been an easy solution for the manufacturer to provide. The item was ordered through Amazon and the incident was reported on 11/08/2019.
