The product, in the report: kids chair PO: 91695-PTM DATE: 06/2011

The submitter’s son was walking to his room when his foot sustained a laceration from the chair. The submitter’s son required nine stitches to the dorsum of his foot. One of the wheels on the chair had fell off a few weeks ago, the submitter said his son does not remember how it fell. The laceration was due to the leg, which the submitter said is extremely sharp.

The submitter contacted the firm and reported the incident. He was told by a Rep. that it’s impossible for one of the wheels to fall off. The submitter indicated that the firm was not concerned with the safety hazard of the chair or the incident.

The submitter said his son is seven years old.
