The product, in the report: Vitra Panton Junior Chair- Children’s chair
My 2 you old son was sitting in a Vitra Pantone Junior chair at the library. He fell backwards and hit his head, requiring staples. The manufacturer’s website states that the chair is designed for children of all ages, but it is clear that it is not safe. There is no safety rating available, and they have not responded to my emails requesting safety information.
I believe my son was trying to push his chair away from a table when this happened. Because there is an unbalanced base of support, the chair fell backwards. This was the only way he could have pushed his chair back, as there are no arm rests and he is too small to push his feet off the ground. This chair is not safe for young children.
