The product, in the report: Dining room chairs “Taylor - Merlot 71OS-4G
I purchased dining room chairs from Value City Furniture and reported to the company that the chairs have upholstery nails that come through the seat padding and puncture the skin. These nails are not visible to the eye, and I (and guests) noticed them after some period of sitting in the chairs. I contacted the company to notify them of the protruding nails, but they looked at the issue as a “warranty issue” (I was past my warranty) rather than a safety issue and indicated there was nothing they could do.
I realize I am well past the purchase date, but thought perhaps a notification from you could get the company (Value City) to investigate the product to make sure others are not sold defective chairs with sharp nails in the seat.
