The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: It is a clear plastic office chair from TJ Maxx. It has a metal base with 5 legs. The height of the chair can be adjusted with a little pump under the seat.

I was sitting in a clear plastic office chair from TJ Maxx, and the back snapped off, making me fall backward onto the floor. The sharp plastic cut my leg

The product, in the report: Chevron Pattern (Orange & White) accent chair with brown wood legs for the living room.

Purchased two accent chairs from T.J. Maxx/Homegoods of the same make and model the legs of the chairs became loose after a month of use and were able to be tighten back easily. I wasn’t concerned up until today when I sat in one to the chairs and the leg came off when I sat down in the chair. I’m of height and weight proportion and concern for the safety of others. If my children would have sat in this chair they would have became injured and I’m concerned of the well being of others.
