No one hurt Made Jan 30, 2018, sent to the company Feb 7, 2018, published by CPSC Mar 1, 2018
The product, in the report: Pier One Imports Swing-a-San chair.
After following manufacturers directions, to assemble the base and chair, I was sitting in it and swaying back and forth, as it is designed to do. I noticed the pole that the chair was suspended from seemed unstable and would move back and forth. I took the chair apart and retightened the bolts as much as possible, but the pole still moved back and forth. I sat back in the chair, rocking gently, and then the whole chair tipped over, and I landed on the floor with the chair on top of me. I was not injured.

The product, in the report: hanger for swing chair
Concerning the SwingaSwan Hanger/Chairs: My Chair has been perfect and i LOVE it !!! its my favorite place on my patio.... BUT............ I do have to be very careful when sitting in it... my Hanger hangs to the left a little and is very easy to tip over.. we have tried to staighten it but to no avail.. I did tip over in the whole thing once and hit the concrete patio very hard.. Do you have better Hangers so I can get a replacement for mine ? or do we have to just return it ???? No one hurt Made Jan 14, 2016, sent to the company Jan 27, 2016, published by CPSC Feb 19, 2016
The product, in the report: Pier One Swingasan/stand
My teenage daughter and her friends love to sit in the swingasan chair/stand but if they lean forward to get out or if they reach forward (like trying to grab something thrown to them) the chair tips over forward. It has happened at least 3 times that I know of. Luckily they are young teenagers and they jump out or the others get out of the way as it tips over. No one has gotten hurt in my house using it but I see how someone could.
