The product, in the report: allen+roth Safford #1106-2 patio chairs purchased at Lowes.

I have 8 allen+roth Safford Model #1106-2 patio chairs. 5 of them have broken bases. The last one broke on 9-4-17 while I was sitting in it and I fell on the concrete floor. Luckily I was not injured. I purchased the first four of these chairs in 2014. The chairs have a 5 year warranty. After 2 of the bases broke I contacted Lowes and was given a phone number to call to receive replacement bases. I finally got someone on the phone and was told that the manufacturer didn’t have any bases in stock. and to call back 3 months later. By this time I had purchased another set of 4 chairs. When I called back I was told that the bases they were expecting did not come in. I called Lowes and they told me that I could return 4 broken chairs and get replacements chairs. I did this in early 2016. In June of 2017 had 3 more broken chairs and I then learned about the recall and was told by Lowes that I could call another phone number and order replacement bases. I called and was told to email them a photo of the broken chairs. I did this on June 1, 2017. I was told that I would receive the replacement bases in 8 to 10 weeks. It has now been 14 weeks an I still have no new bases.
