The product, in the report: https://www.roveconcepts.com/rove-classics_daw-chair-upholstered-fiberglass.html https://www.roveconcepts.com/product-info/1752/pdf Dining chairs - DAW Chair - Upholstered Fiberglass The chairs broke where the fiberglass base is attached to the legs. The company is based in Vancouver but has a warehouse in Los Angeles. Our order number is: #[REDACTED] and the name on the order is [REDACTED]
We ordered these chairs in November and two of them have already broken and are an extreme safety hazard.
The manner i which these chairs have broken is extremely dangerous and could very easily result in injury; the first chair broke when I was sat on it and as a result I fell off the chair and onto the floor. The chair legs broke off from the top where the legs attach to the chair. After the second chair broke the same way last week, it became obvious that these are defective. We do not feel safe using them anymore. No one in this household weighs over 200 pounds and the chairs broke just from regular sitting at our dinner table.
We have contacted the company several times and they have done nothing to resolve our concerns. I feel that these pose a threat to others who have purchased them and am reporting this to prevent unnecessary injuries.
The first chair broke in the beginning of March 2018 and the second one broke on June 6, 2018.
