The product, in the report: Bar height chairs that swivel, Safford Collection. 4 in the set. They are metal and mesh. Only 1 broke so far.
We bought the Allen and Roth chairs as part of a table and chairs package from Lowe’s. There were 4 chairs included in the set. This summer, 2017, my husband was sitting on one of the chairs when it broke and dumped him to the floor. Luckily, he went forward and landed on his feet, so no harm done. I called Lowe’s and they told us to call Allen and Roth since they were the supplier so I could buy parts to fix the chair. I did some research and found this website with the recall. I was surprised! So, I called the manufacturer per this website to get the replacement kits. They took my information and said they didn’t know when it would ship since it was manufactured in China and they are out of stock. I asked if they thought it would be days, weeks or months and the representative said she didn’t know, but that when it does ship, I will get a tracking number.
The response made it seem like they were going through the motions. I will try calling back in a week or two to see if they know more.
