Made May 8, 2015, sent to the company Jun 30, 2015, published by CPSC Jul 15, 2015

The product, in the report: Set of Two Plastic Chair with Metal, Clear Plastic Tipped Legs

04/29/2015 - The consumer’s husband was getting up from his chair when all of the sudden his wife saw their cats playing with something metal. After inspection, the consumer and her husband were able to figure out that the metal parts that their cats were playing with were a washer and screw that had fallen from the chair the consumer’s husband was sitting in. The consumer’s husband did not fall from the chair.

05/08/2015 - The consumer had just finished pouring coffee for herself and before she could sit down entirely, the chair underneath her snapped at the plastic tip that is five inches in length. The consumer did not fall and has no injuries to report.

The consumer indicates that their is no label on the chairs with a weight-limit or even any identifying marks.

The consumer indicates that this is the second time the retailer replaced the chair as the same incident has happened in the past with the previous sets, as well as the seat shell cracking.

The consumer will contact the retailer (Moda Italia, 16900 South Hawthorne Boulevard, Lawndale, Ca, 90260) in the hopes that they will refund her their money back as she does not want to deal with these chairs.

The consumer believes these products pose a safety hazard.
