The product, in the report: MAVERICK OFFICE CHAIR - MODEL 277968.
I purchased the Maverick model 277968 chair from Office Depot located on 6263 South Lindbergh Blvd., Saint Louis, Mo. 63123, Store # 109 - PH# 314-845-0800 during about 2006. My receipt from their thermal cash register has since faded away all information. The chair had been sold with a life time warranty with not exclusions listed. Now it is sold presently from Office Depot with a 10 year limited warranty from the MFG./Importer the Raynor Group - 525 Hempstead Turnpike West Hempstead, NY 11552. The chair has closed cell foam pads on the armrests that have fallen apart due to the shelf life of the foam material itself and not from any use. When the foam pads fell off it left the metal base with many sharp burrs that I cut my hand on. Also, the metal base keeps falling apart making the chair unsafe to sit in. I told the the Raynor group about it. They refused to accept wrong doing and want to charge me for the failing parts. I worked with this type of foam in industry and know that the oils used in the foam dry causing the foam to lose its elasticity, crack, and fail in its use.
