The plastic arm rest broke where it is mounted to the seat, which is a part of the support system for the chair. As soon as it snapped and cause i was in the couch position of the chair (way back) i fell and hit my head on the ground. Just to warn others of this faulty chair and non resolution of a replacement or help from the assistant manager from the store i purchased it from.

I HAVE PURCHASED A DESK CHAIR FROM STAPLES ABOUT 7 MONTHS BEFORE. AS I WENT TO SIT ON THIS CHAIR, ITS BASE BROKE IN HALF AND I FELL DOWN TO THE FLOOR. I HURT MY KNEE AND SHOULDER.
PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE CHAIR WERE TAKEN AND SHOWN TO THE STAPLES SUPERVISOR, WHO IMMEDIATELY GAVE ME A REPLACEMENT DESK CHAIR.
MY REPORTING OF THIS INCIDENT IS MAINLY TO HELP PROTECT OTHER CUSTOMERS FROM UNREASONABLE RISK OF INJURY RELATED TO THIS PRODUCT, WHICH IS MANUFACTURED BY “GLOBAL FURNITURE (ZHE JIANG) CO”, ZHE JIANG PROVINCE, CHINA.
