The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

    Subject: Unsafe Child’s Toy

    Re: ToysRUs child’s Resin Chair

Name: Minnie Classic Resin Chair SKU 039897556048 Price: $9.99

This chair is not stable and has tendency to fall backwards with the child in it causing head trauma.

This happened to my granddaughter so we returned it. I am hoping they can be recalled before a child is seriously injured. I believe the back legs are made to close to the back of the chair causing the chair to be unstable.

The product, in the report: Chair, patio furniture, Kids Only brand, resin chair.

Kids Only Resin Chair, patio furniture, needs a labeled height recommendation beyond which the product is not safe. My grandson, 21 months of age, 30 lbs, 34.5 inches tall, while attempting to sit in the chair, fell backwards and hit his head on a hard ceramic tile floor. The chair’s front legs are set wider than the rear legs which may favor a backward momentum. It seems prudent to label the chair with height and weight recommendations beyond which the product is not safe.
