The product, in the report: Chair - standard height chair with metal tube base on solid laminated seat/back. Bar Stool - same as above but in a stool format

Over the course of the last we have have purchased chairs and bar stools from Evofurniture, LLC dba inmod.com for use in our Community Rooms and Demonstration Kitchens. We recently had an incident whereby one of the chairs collapsed while one of our customers was sitting in the chair causing them to fall to the floor. When we received this report of injury we immediately polled our other stores and discovered that we have had seven (7) other chairs and two (2) bar stools break. There are cases where the legs have completely given out and collapsed, chair back laminate has separated, and chair backs have completely snapped off of the seating areas.

We have taken this up with the inmod.com and thus far they have failed to accept responsibility for the breakage and subsequent claim. We are so concerned about the lack of quality and number of failures that we have completely pulled this furniture from use in our stores.
