The product, in the report: Office Chair model KC85680BP serial DNT3V8
I have a HON office chair model KC85680RP serial DNT3V8 an older unit. The metal back support holding the chair back to the seat broke and I fell backward to the floor. The metal back support has 3 factory holes drilled at the curved 45 degree angle and this is where the back support failed. HON agreed to examine the chair and arranged for pickup by FedEx. FedEx would not pickup chair because HON did not send packaging for the chair and HON later lost interest in chair. I am not sure of the date of the failure without looking up the date I first contacted HON, it was within the last 6 mts. June 22 2017 is when I first contacted HON. I have taken pictures.
