The product, in the report: Wood dining room side chair with black velvet upholstery
We have a Hendredon dining room set that we purchased several years ago at Macys. One of our dinner guests this week leaned back on the entire back of the chair broke off from the seat. He hit his head on the wall and fell on the floor. I contacted Hendredon and they referred to Macys. Macys no longer carries Hendredon and they referred me back to the manufacturer. I findally took the broker chair to KELLS Furniture Repair, Roswell, GA today. The owner inspected the damage and noted that there was no glue used during production and the fasteners were too short and there were not enough to secure the back of the chair to the seat. I am very concerned about the 7 other chairs with our dining room set. I am also wondering if this is a flaw that could cause harm to other Henrendon chairs owners. I have photos of the broker chair and will have a written report from KELLS once the chair is repaired
