Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

    The product, in the report: Gardenline; four piece outdoor patio conversation set includes two chairs, eight cushions, four pillows, table with slate; made of powder coated steel frames and plastic;

    I purchased a four piece conversation patio set made by Gardenline from Aldi in May of 2011. Since May, both chairs and loveseat have broken. The chair is made of rod-iron with plastic lattic patterned straps that hold the seat cushion. The issue is with the plastic lattic patterned straps that, essentually, support the person sitting in the chair. In both of the chairs and the loveseat, the plastic straps have broken off resulting in the person sitting in the chair or loveseat falling through it. I am not overweight in the least. I weigh 120 pounds and the chairs do not support my weight. The conversation set is now unusable and the manufacturer is located overseas which gives me little hope of getting the set replaced or fixed.
